The mission of the Connellsville Cultural Trust is to improve the quality of life in the Connellsville region by valuing and preserving our cultural and historic assets and supporting and nurturing other cultural groups and educational initiatives.
The Connellsville Cultural Trust was formed in July of 2006--the Bicentennial Year of the City.

Our goals include: The development of a Historical, Cultural and Entertainment District Managing Community Assets Presenting Arts and Entertainment Providing Support Services for Presenting Arts and Art Organizations
Michael Edwards received a grant on behalf of the Cultural Trust from the Connellsville Rotary towards presenting Art on the Yough.
Represented are other leaders of community organization who also received grants for their efforts.

The Garden Club of Connellsville sponsored the annual Geranium Festival on May 23, 2009. This was our booth, where we premiered Connellsville Crossroads--the magazine. Entertainment included Connellsville's own Harold Betters--Mr. Trombone.
The Connellsville Cultural Trust's Second Annual Fundraiser Dinner on Monday, December 8th, 2008. We raised over $ 1600.
